Radiohead is setting the record straight: They will not be performing at the Occupy Wall Street protest on Friday.

“We wish the best of luck to the protesters there, but contrary to earlier rumours, we will not be appearing today at #occupywallstreet,” they posted on the band’s Twitter page.

Occupy Wall Street, which had earlier confirmed the supposed show, 보성출장안마 also tweeted that the band would not be playing.

“Radiohead is not coming, we were hoaxed,” organizers wrote. “Please accept our apologies.”

Rumors swirled early Friday that the British band would will perform that afternoon at the protest’s headquarters in downtown New York City’s Zuccotti Park. A spokesman for the band said the reports were untrue.

“We can officially confirm this is NOT happening,” Steve Martin of Nasty Little Man, the firm that represents Radiohead, wrote in an email, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Nasty Little Man also updated its website to deny the reports: ” RADIOHEAD IS NOT PLAYING WALL STREET TODAY nor were they ever confirmed to do so.”

Radiohead has been in the NYC area this week playing two shows at Roseland Ballroom on Wednesday and Thursday. The group also performed Monday on “The Colbert Report.”

Occupy Wall Street has been occupying Zuccotti Park for the past two weeks, protesting against greed and corruption. They’ve received support from filmmaker Michael Moore and actress Susan Sarandon, both of whom have visited the protest.
