St
St. Nick had better have a good supply of coal when he comes down the chimney at the Spears home Monday night. Nickelodeon fans have been tut-tuting all week over the announcement that Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old star of “Zoey 101,” is three months’ pregnant. The news comes on the heels of her older sister’s headline-making, head-shaving, pantyless romp of a few months ago and puts their mother, Lynne Spears, under scrutiny.
Of course, Lynne Spears isn’t the only celebrimom who has been in the hot seat. Dina Lohan, and her ex-husband Michael, took some hits earlier this year when her starlet daughter, Lindsay, checked in and out of rehabs. Now it appears that Michael is making amends. Released earlier this year from prison, where he served time for assault, Lohan is pursuing ministry studies and played the role of Joseph in New York’s Times Square Nativity scene.
Basketball star Tony Parker was accused of being naughty, but he insists he is really nice and so does his new bride, actress Eva Longoria. The two are suing the bosses of X17, the photo agency that reported last week that Parker had an extramarital affair with a French model.
NFL star Terrell Owens is making nice these days, after dissing Cowboys teammate Tony Romo and his girlfriend, singer/actress Jessica Simpson. Owens has been apologizing ever since he sparked an uproar by suggesting that Simpson should make herself scarce when Romo’s on the field. It was just a joke, he says.
And wouldn’t it be nice if Santa taught singer Amy Winehouse to listen to her dad. After Winehouse’s father told reporters this week he doesn’t care for the company his daughter keeps while her husband is in jail, referring to Babyshambles frontman Peter Doherty, Winehouse was arrested for interfering with the case against her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who has been jailed since November on charges of witness tampering.
There was a lot of holiday cheer this week at the home of “Survivor: China” winner Todd Herzog, but some dashed hopes at the home of contestant Denise Martin. After Denise said at the show’s finale that she failed to get her lunch lady job back when she returned from China, producer Mark Burnett gave her a $50,000 gift. The next day, the school district set the record straight: Martin had applied for and been given a higher-paying janitorial job and 광양출장샵 could not get her lunchroom job back because the position had been filled. Martin is giving the $50,000 to charity.
The Writers Guild played Grinch for Golden Globes, refusing to allow its members to provide scripts for the Jan. 13 awards show. It is expected to do the same for the Academy Awards, although it did relent for the SAG and Independent Spirit awards.
And finally, someone needs to tell Santa where to find Rick Solomon, now that “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson has gone to court to end their two-month marriage. She cited irreconcilable differences.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
